From April 5-6, the Step Up For Europe Road Show will visit the Balkan Confernce taking place in the charming small town of Beli Manastir!

On Friday, 5 April, from 13:00-14:30, prior to the official start of the conference, JCI Croatia in cooperation with the Beli Manastir Youth City Council will organize a workshop on the European elections in the Ethnology Center of Baranja's heritage aimed at senior students of local high schools. During the workshop, the students will have to work on their own candidate pitch for the European elections and present it in front of the group. The goal of these mock elections is that participants learn to reflect their own political opinions and as well as how to present and advocate for their political interests.

From 16:00-17:00, as part of the official conference program, there will be a keynote on the ThisTimeImVoting campaign and the European elections by a representative from the European Parliament Liaison Office in Croatia, followed by a panel discussion on how to mobilize young people for the elections and their vision for the future of Europe.

The JCI Balkan Conference (5-7 April) is dedicated to young and starting entrepreneurs and professionals from seven South East European countries to exchange business know-how, discuss important topics and trends related to emerging technologies and attend training and networking events.
